As an Assistant Accountant, you’ll help to ensure the financial operations run smoothly and efficiently by delivering financial and management accounting. Gain hands-on exposure to all aspects of a commercial business – there's so much to learn!

Day-to-day you’ll process and maintain accounting transactions, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. You’ll help with expense allocations, AP/AR, and support the company accountant with cash flow reporting. Plus gain exposure to international currency, financial reporting and tax returns. Better still you can work from home two days a week.

To thrive in the role you have the following attributes:
• An accounting degree, ideally some experience with accounts payable and receivable, or you’re a new grad eager to learn
• Strong attention to detail, excellent Excel skills, and familiarity with finance systems
• Outgoing, you have great communication skills to engage with the wider team
• A proactive approach, speaking up if you identify areas for improvement
• Adaptability to handle shifting priorities in a vibrant culture and willingness to assist in other areas, in an ‘all hands-on deck’ approach
