Enjoy a combined quoting and customer services role for a growing Christchurch stone benchtop manufacturer. Fielding phone and showroom queries, you’ll work in an admin team of three, taking the lead on quoting. Purpose-built software makes quoting straightforward, so your plan-reading ability and people skills can shine.

Manage the quotes inbox and produce around 10–15 quotes a day with a 24-hour turnaround. Interpret plans and dimensions, answer customer queries and follow up a few days later. You’ll build rapport, grow customer relationships and help get sales across the line.

To thrive you’ll bring:

• Confidence reading plans. Whether it’s a benchtop drawing or a full kitchen plan, you can identify the relevant details and dimensions

• High-level spoken English and an engaging, confident phone manner that helps you build rapport naturally

• Strong customer service skills. You’re comfortable talking with tradies, developers and other customers and understanding what they need

• Commercial drive and initiative. You’ll follow up a quote rather than wait for the phone to ring

• Confidence using technology and picking up new software

• Ideally, experience with benchtops through kitchen, bathroom or laundry manufacture, retail, or design gives you an understanding of sink and hob cut-outs, stone specs and edge profiles

• Alternatively, interior design study could provide the plan-reading and measurement skills to step into the role

Lucino designs, manufactures and installs stone and porcelain surfaces from its Hornby base for the joinery and building industry. You’ll join a collaborative, values-led team of around 25 in a practical, straight-talking business with clear values and direction. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5pm.
