Accounts Administrator | Join a tight team of two
Process and maintain accounting transactions and provide cover for the Office Manager in a tight team of two. Ease in at 20-25 hrs, growing to 30-35.
Enjoy variety and responsibility as you process and maintain accounting transactions, and step in for the Office Manager when required. You’ll play a key role in keeping financial operations running smoothly. Start with 20–25 hours a week, increasing to around 30–35 as upcoming changes take shape.
Day-to-day you’ll produce invoices, reconcile statements, manage debtors, and handle credit checks — all with the fundamentals of accounting in mind. You’ll also monitor time tracking for accurate billing, prepare monthly accounts for approval, and undertake general office tasks including arranging couriers and keeping records current.
To thrive you’ll bring:
- Solid accounts experience across payables, receivables, reconciliations, and preparing accounts for sign-off. You have a proven track record.
- Strong Xero skills, able to pull reports and navigate with confidence
- An understanding of accounting principles — you know the “why” behind the numbers
- Initiative to investigate anomalies and suggest improvements
- Customer focus with a confident, professional manner for calls and visitors
- Reliability and the flexibility to work full-time for short periods, such as covering the Office Manager’s annual leave
- Payroll knowledge and familiarity with HR requirements would be a plus
