This hands-on role ensures each taonga is expertly bound, prepared and ready for wholesale dispatch, website loading, or retail sale. Your main responsibility is the binding and assembly of each piece. You’ll be the final set of hands, bringing consistency, quality, and care to the binding and dispatch process. There’s flexibility around start and finish times, genuine development opportunities, and full training.

You’ll also pick, pack and process orders, perform quality checks, replenish stock, support the team and answer retail queries when someone is away.

What You Bring

• Strong hand skills — from jewellery making, crafts, sewing, model building, weaving, macramé, or similar

• A good eye for balance, symmetry, and tidy finishing

• Ability to work at pace while maintaining quality

• High attention to detail, to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately

• Basic computer capability for printing orders and courier labels

• Reliable, steady, friendly, and comfortable in a small team environment

• Customer-friendly presentation for the occasional retail interaction

• Availability 9am–2.30pm Monday–Friday, plus flexibility during peak seasons

• Start ASAP or mid-January
